Harvest 2024 was a great success and all the wines are happy in their tanks. I will say I am surprised at how the drought effected the amount of grapes we picked this year. Some of our vines only produced about 1/2 of the amount they did last year.
We just finished our primary fermentation.
This means the yeast we add have converted all the natural sugars in the juice into alcohol and carbon dioxide. Over the next several months we will add oak to the reds and let the whites clarify.
In the tasting room we have our seasonal Mulled wine that is included in our tasting and is available by the cup. Recipe cards are also available along with our Catawba which is the base for the Mulled wine.
